Larry Stanley

I am a well seasoned image maker. Capturing life’s fleeting moments is my passion and profession. My formal photography education started at the Art Center school of Design in California.  However it actually began when I was a young boy. 

My father loved photography and created a b&w darkroom in our home basement.  There he taught me how to use a film camera, process b&w film and print simple images when I was very young.  Interest continued to grow as the years past.  By the time I was 20, I realized that photography was my life’s work.  I left my home in Kansas City and moved to Colorado and then… off to southern California to pursue my passion.

I am most fond of the spectacular scenic weddings in Montana, from Glacier to Yellowstone, from Flathead Valley to Paradise Valley with occasional destination weddings around the country. My work is authentic. My shooting style is unobtrusive. My images are full of the naturally occurring beauty of each moment.

All that said, the bottom line is that my photography is about YOU, not about me.
