“Big Sky Photo Booth was the hugest hit at our reception. We LOVE our coffee table book – we look at it every week and laugh our butts off! Not only did Matt and Tara make sure our guests had a blast with the photo booth, but they helped us figure out how it would fit into the event timeline and the location constraints. They were fabulous from the first phone call we made.”
“You won’t find any kits or pre-fab booths around here. Our booth was custom built so we could have it our way, and I think you and your guests will love the result! The Six Shooter booth is traditional in style; just hop in, close the curtain, and with the push of a button you are on your way!”

The weather in a word: changeable. Here in Montana the weather is always up for grabs. The locals say “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute,” because it will change.
June, July, August and September are the premium months for outdoor events, however wind, rain and cool spells can interrupt them briefly. For the most part, these are our warm and dry months. It’s the perfect place for outdoor weddings.
Michael McLaughlin chose the day of his wedding very carefully; it was to be held in a beautiful mountain meadow at his parent’s ranch in Wilsal, Montana. He accessed years of precipitation records from this weather site (see also links at right). He and Susan chose a day that had little or no chance of precipitation according to the records.
The bad news is that it rained for 15 minutes right before the ceremony and it caused a slight delay in order to get all the chairs wiped dry while the guests waited in buses that had transported them from town to the ranch.
The good news is that immediately following the ceremony huge double rainbows graced the sky for the newlyweds and their guests and the evening reception was remarkable.
So you see “If you don’t like the weather here, just wait a bit.” Out of dozens of weddings that I have photographed in the last 5 years, only one in twenty gets rained on. Typically it is only a brief interruption, but when the sun comes out and the rainbows appear, no one seems to mind.
