Nicole and Dan, September 22

Fall wedding at Chico

Well eventually the seasons turn and you end up realizing once again, that summer is not endless here in Montana. Nicole and Dan made the most of the dramatic weather and at 10 am on Saturday morning, made the decision to hold their wedding indoors at Chico's beautiful facility rather than run the risk of cold weather in the afternoon. Well, it was a wise call when things started getting dark, the wind started blowing and it was spitting rain when the ceremony began inside in front of the candle lit fireplace.

Here are a handful of beautiful photos from the joyous wedding of Nicole and Dan. Enjoy!

Have a fine weekend. I'm taking time off for a change and sharing dinner with my fine associates, Lauren Brown and Case, Carmen Irish and Uriah along with my wife Heather and daughter Jennie Lynn. It's dinner at the Rainbow Ranch to celebrate all the fine times we've been blessed to share with our clients and each other this summer.

Emaho! Which I have been told is Tibetan for something similar to wahoo! or hallelujah!

Erin and Sam, passion, love and happiness!

Bozeman Wedding at The Woodlands

You've gotta love this one! The guests arrive, the sky grows darker as they are seated in the field, and then it happens. A downpour of hail that absolutely soaks them to the bone while they attempted to run for cover. Everyone regroups and the wedding takes place inside with just as much passion and joy as if nothing had happened. Actually it was even better than that. The smiles, the tears, the laughter... the steam rising from the lawn after the ceremony, as the sun quickly melted 2 inches of hail. It was an amazing display of nature.

To Sam and Erin. May you be blessed with many passionate, happy, eventful, and loving years ahead.

I give you The Wedding album of Erin and Sam.

Marcia and Josh, A gorgeous fall day at...

Chico, Chico, Chico

It's always beautiful at Chico. And this day was no exception. I've looked at sooooo many weddings this summer and I love it, but it only increases my desire to find out-of-the-ordinary moments of beauty. Well this wedding had plenty. Josh and Marcia are delightful people and with that happy approach to everything, great things happen. So, here's a small collection of unique images that will turn heads, and some images of the scenic beauty from my favorite little spot above Chico that bare repeating... Chico, Chico, Chico.

Marcia and Josh. We loved shooting for you. Many of these images are Jennie Lynn's and her work shines in it's own way. Enjoy!

This weekend I return to - you guessed it... Chico, Chico, Chico!

Kristin and Evan, Holland Lake Lodge Wedding

August in God's country.

Well, I hope this is worth the wait; and, I firmly believe that it is. Makes me wish I could roll back the clock and take a week of August off and simply sit by this beautiful lake and... just be. Dream on, it's going to be November before I can take a week off!

To Kristin's Mother: I hope this makes blossoms bloom!
To Evan's parents: What a treat to meet you and it was a joy to make these images for your families.

The Wedding album of Kristen and Evan.

There are 5 more albums in the works. So if you're on that list, thank you so much for your patience. Each one is a work of art and I'm trying to create one a week plus handle all the other details.

More later! Larry

Mission Bay wedding in San Diego

Ying and Martin on the Pacific Ocean

Ok, here it is. Sweeping ocean vistas surrounded this wonderful couple on their wedding day on the coast of San Diego. The reception aboard the Aolani catamaran was a breath of fresh ocean air. I hope you enjoy the album.

The Wedding album of Ying and Martin!

Next on my album building list is Kristin and Evan's wedding August 11th at the Holland Lake Lodge.

And... next on the blog will be highlights from Marica and Josh's wedding last Saturday at Chico Hot Springs Resort. Despite the forecast they had an amazing September Day with the ceremony on the lawn.

September 2nd in Red Lodge Montana

Lisa and Jason

Last Sunday I had the honor of attending the wedding of Lisa and Jason. Jason, a graduate of West Point and a member of the elite Army Rangers, married the radiant Lisa Dobbs. It was an Airborne occasion. Everything took to the air including the groom and the brides' veil as you'll see below. The beauty of September can be unmatched in our mountains here in Montana ... and it was. I hope you enjoy these beautiful moments.

This Saturday I'm going to my favorite hideaway here in Paradise Valley, Chico Hot Spring Resort. Jennie Lynn and I are looking forward to the marriage of Marcia and Josh.
