Tracy and Kyle at Seeley Lake

Special couple, special place, a special day.

Just got back from 3 days on Seeley Lake. Heather and I decided to take a little time by the lake while in the area to photograph the wedding of Tracy and Kyle. This was a special couple, a special place and a special day. Like hundreds of weddings in Montana this last weekend, it took place on the day which is being called the luckiest day of the century... 7/7/2007.

Well it certainly was a lucky and beautiful day for Tracy and Kyle. These two were childhood sweethearts that had sworn love to each other in their teens, and then broke up to move on to college and took their separate paths. As fate would have it and in fullfillment of their youthful promises, Tracy and Kyle were united in marriage on Saturday at the Three Falls Inn at Seeley Lake. Right after the ceremony we took a drive to The Lodges on Seeley Lake that was previously owned by the grooms family. The lodge held many golden childhood memories for Kyle. It was the perfect spot to photograph these two.

By the way we stayed at the Lodges on Seeley and the accommodations were great. You've got to see this property to appreciate it. I think Seeley Lake goes unnoticed by many. As you drive by on the highway you can't really see this hidden gem of a lake. If you're planning a 2008 or 2009 Montana wedding you might want to check this place out. Get the number off of their website and give Kerry a call and tell her that Larry Stanley referred you. They'll treat you like family!

Here's just a few images for now. Happy summer days! Larry

The pic of them on the swing is 'picture perfect'. How'd you get them to do that and not make it look posed? Beautiful work....again!
