Breckenridge, August 12th

Mountain top weddings rock! Here's proof. Enjoy the amazing day of Jessica and John's wedding above the town of Breckenridge at a place called Elk Ridge Ranch. Something magic happens at 11,000 feet. It seems like you're just a short distance from Heaven!

Special thanks to Kevin Fabozzi for this original piece of music. Kevin is the man for acoustic music in these parts!

And to Teddi Maul for her excellent 2nd camera imagery.

August 4th at Chico Resort

Here's the latest album creation for Tracy Reese and Mike Ward. The music was graciously donated by Kostas an accomplished singer/songwriter who's work is well known in Nashville and around the country. It fits the mood and tenor of this beautiful day in the Paradise Valley.

Mike and Tracy, Cheers! I hope you love this as much as I do.

Whitefish August 19th...

Whitefish Montana, August 19th... an international event.

Paula and Steven
I don't usually splash this many photos on my blog, but I'm gonna do it anyway. At least for a couple of weeks until I can get your images online so you can see just a few of the remarkable moments I found on your wedding day. There are more, alot more! And then I can't wait to build your album. I can't thank you enough for selecting me for your wedding. You were so gracious to take me all the way to Whitefish for your wedding. When I arrived, met you on the street, and walked right into your rehearsal on Friday afternoon, I knew I was with family. Corny, yeah maybe but that's how I felt. You made me smile. You made me laugh. You made me cry. I was smiling all the way home today just itching to share some of these with you. So here you go.

There's nothing like walking into a group of folks from all over the world and feeling right at home. I would go on, and on but I'll let my images speak for themselves. And when you christen those babies in Capetown, Heather and I would love to come.

Warm regards, Larry

Elk Ridge Ranch in Breckenridge

John and Jessica decided last summer to get married in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, high above everything (really high... 11,000 above sea level!). They graciously flew me out for the weekend and it was a beautiful time in the mountains - where I love to be. I saw some old friends, met some new ones and shared in the magical moments of Jessica and John's wedding ceremony. We had just about every type of weather display that you could imagine, except snow. At that altitude in the mountains, things change very quickly and it did just that. The only thing that was constant was the smile in everyone's heart.

Happy day!

Many thanks to Teddi Maull, a Denver based photographer who consented to shoot second camera for me. Teddi rock's. Her images are amazing and I'm lucky to have had her help for the wedding.

Two roses and the rain.

Mike and Tracy married last week at Chico Hot Spring Resort. Just before the ceremony, the overcast turned to rain and the wedding moved from the lawn to inside the Convention center. That didn't matter much to anyone because this celebration was all about love. The love of family and friends. The love of childen. And most notably, the love between parents and children.

Two roses where placed on empty chairs in the front row for Mike's Mom and Dad who recently passed. I'm confident they watched on from above. And tears of joy came down from the heavens.

Later that evening the sun broke through and we escaped up to the top of the hill to capture some wonderful moments.

Here's a few lines of my own ...

A little rain, a few tears
my smile filled with appreciation for those years.
And now they're gone, yet in truth they remain,

Two roses and the rain. Two roses and the rain.

I can't wait to get put your album together. Look for it in a few weeks.

July 15th Wedding at the Moonlight Lodge

This is for my friends Leah and Mark that got married a few weeks ago at the Moonlight Lodge in Big Sky. After a great Friday evening on the Gallatin river with Bluegrass music, a pig roast, beer, wine and the whole shabang - everyone gathered on the patio of the lodge Saturday afternoon for a warm and wonderful event. I think this album tells you a lot more than I could type in this little box... so enjoy this remarkable wedding. Congratulations to Leah and Mark.
