Chico Hot Springs Wedding

Brandi and Matt put it all together with the help of a lot of friends and family. What a day in Paradise! The Big Montana Sky was a tad overcast, but all the better for photos on this perfect 80 degree day. The resort at Chico Hot Srings was greener than I've ever seen it.

The pictures say it all: Springtime in Montana, happiness, love, wedding vows, commitment to life, friends, family and doggies.

It was a fabulous day. This is going to be a great album. Check back in a week and see the book.

How much fun can you have???

Ok, this was one fun wedding. The ceremony was held on the deck of Deer Park Chalet at Bridger Bowl, a favorite ski hill near Bozeman. The Chalet is gorgeous, the sky was BIG and the weather was ultimately springtime in the mountains of Montana. Many thanks to Laura and Chip and their loving parents for such an incredible wedding day event. I will be posting a Showcase Album soon, but for now... here's a smattering of great moments from their beautiful wedding. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the dancing was CRAZY!!!!! And for those who witnessed my acrobatic forward roll with camera in hand, everything still works. Check back in a few days for the Showcase Album. Cheers!

June Weddings in Montana!

Just when you think you've seen the most beautiful evening of the Spring here in Montana, another one jumps up and smacks you in the kisser! I could see the sky starting to light up a few evenings ago, so I grabbed my camera and my new Lab pup "Yeshe" and headed for the Yellowstone (just a few blocks from my house).

I didn't have as many June weddings this season and I surmise that it is because folks are concerned about the changeable nature of our springtime weather. If you're planning an outdoor wedding for next year, you might consider the beautiful evenings that June offers, if... you're willing to gamble a little and have a plan B in the event of an evening shower.

Can you imagine having this evening as the backdrop for your outdoor wedding in Montana? phew, I can. Enjoy.

Just finished a yee haaaaa wedding at the Paws Up Resort in Greenough Montana. This wedding was something special and the new resort??? well it's amazing. The showcase album will be up in a few days but I couldn't resist sharing the portrait of this little cow poke.

There is nothing like an intimate Montana Wedding in the midst of our spectacular mountains. The weather can be variable but always dramatic. Gail and Dick were joined by their families from Wyoming, Montana and Canada to celebrate their vows at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray Montana. Dick, a former commercial pilot, proposed to Gail while flying high in the outdoor cockpit of an old biplane. Now they have started a new manufacturing business in Powell, Wyoming building and delivering roof trusses around the region.

Dick and Gail, you are an inspiration to all of us older than 35!!!
