My photographic journey started here in Montana at the young age of seven. I began taking photography classes as a child where I learned to shoot, print and process my own images. Through my childhood years I was tutored by professional photographer, Kathe LeSage. I developed an eye for composition and a love for capturing life and beauty. I began to find personal satisfaction in creating images that pleased others.
As I matured so did my aspirations toward a visually creative path, inspiring me to declare majors in both photography and graphic design at Montana State University. Out of these life experiences and education, it became obvious to me that I should choose a profession allowing me to create images people will appreciate and love for years to come. Wedding photography has come naturally to me and I love it! Lauren Brown

My most memorable summer was the summer I received my first camera. My youthfulness led my imagination through an ever changing shaping of worldview. I do not recall where the camera came from; however, the images I captured have left lasting pictures in my memory: images that evoked a sense of wonder as I found an undiscovered world.
I invite this sense of wonder and spirit into my artistic vision as a wedding photographer, capturing timeless moments that bring us back to our youthfulness. I see it as my responsibility to capture these moments telling the compelling stories of love, humor, joy and personality, while being very sensitive to these personal perspectives and relationships. With devotion, I take care and pride capturing and presenting your wedding story.
While working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with emphasis in Photography from Montana State University, I worked as an assistant to numerous accomplished wedding photographers and photojournalists. Throughout this training, I developed my own unique style for Fine Art Wedding Photojournalism. Through these expansive observations, I acquired a distinct artistic professionalism that I now bring to my clients; an exceptional relationship built upon creative thought, intuitive insight, and devotion to each client's individual needs.

I'm please to introduce her as an Associate of Montana Wedding Photographer.

My training in photography and journalism began in college at Southwest Texas State University. I majored in print journalism, writing features about interesting personalities and events for local newspapers. I received a minor in photography, the old-fashioned kind. I spent many of my school days holed up in a darkroom, processing my own film and developing black & white prints.
Throughout the last 10 years of reporting the news, it hasn't been the what, where, when and why that intrigues me most - it's the who. I believe I grow as a person when I learn about other's passions, relationships and dreams.
I encourage real laughs, not cheese. I prefer natural hair, not gelled perfection. I want you to enjoy your experience, not concentrate on the perfect pose.
