a winter walk

A very winter and quiet day today. My wife and daughters headed for the ski hill. I took time to reflect, walk and share time with my true blue doggie Yeshe. Today she was a snow dog. I snagged a camera on the way out the door with no idea what ‘we’ might find. A day like no other.

So here are some images and some thoughts. MY HOME Montana!

There is a place in the West where ancient traditions are revered, where thoughts of the East are more near than distant, where the reflection of compassion settles upon river pools and aspirations of liberation glow in the mountain sky. It is a place that I am honored to visit. A place where I remember to take refuge in the sky, the clouds, the water, the spirit and the very air that I breath. It is a place that reflects what I find in my own heart.

I call it HOME
